More About Dr. Gary Probst, Psy.D.
Dr. Probst began his working career at the age of 17 as a news reporter/anchor for a radio station in Dubuque, Iowa. He moved on to a career in TV news, anchoring and reporting for several stations in Iowa and Wisconsin.

His experience includes a six-year stint in public broadcasting, as a producer and managing editor for "The New Tech Times", an international program on technlogy. He also raise corporate funding for programs.

Desiring to go back into radio, Dr. Probst managed a radio station in Janesville, WI and then moved into financial services for a long career. That wasn't enough.
​
In 2009, Dr. Probst began studying psychology and earned his MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and an MA in Management & Leadership, also from Liberty. He went on to finish his Psy.D., Doctorate of Psychology, from CalSouthern University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. Probst, along with his friend and mentor, Dr. Thomas Lehmann, founded a multi-clinic counseling group, focused on low-income families, called "The Matthew Project", www.thematthewproject.org.

Dr. Probst now teaches as an adjunct professor of counseling for Liberty University, is a partner in a business consulting firm, Advocates Risk Management, www.advocatesrm.com, and works as a psychologist in Wisconsin.
